About
From the sea to the studio,
my work begins with time spent along the shoreline.
I’m a contemporary artist living and working on Guringai Land in Manly, Sydney. My practice is inspired by the Australian coastline — particularly the intertidal zones where land and water meet. I’m drawn to these thresholds: spaces of tension, rhythm and quiet transformation.
Before becoming a full-time artist, I spent a decade in architecture and furniture design. That background continues to inform how I see and make. I naturally look for underlying rhythm and proportion, distilling coastal forms into calm, meditative compositions. Through painting, mixed media and relief sculpture, I explore the balance between geometric clarity and the organic movement of the natural world.
I am currently an Associate Artist with Sydney Road Gallery, exhibiting regularly in their group program.
